FIRE crews tackled a small fire in the bedroom of a third-floor flat in Devonport.
Two appliances from Camels Head attended the fire in Brunswick Place shortly after 10.30am yesterday after a call from a concerned neighbour who saw smoke billowing from a third-floor flat window.
Firefighters found the fire was in a bedroom of the building and using breathing apparatus and a single hose reel were able to extinguish the blaze.
The bedroom itself had extensive smoke damage while the rest of the flat had minor smoke damage.
Initial reports were that the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
