Devonport Guildhall is excited to launch its new History Evenings.
Taking place on 28th and 29th August, residents and people from further afield can enjoy a walking tour of some of Devonport’s most historic buildings and monuments.
The tour will include visits to the Market Hall, St Aubyn’s Church, The Mechanics Institute, Cumberland Green (Piquet Barracks) and Devonport Guildhall. The journey ends with a tour of Devonport Guildhall and an opportunity to climb Devonport Column.
A final question & answer session concludes the evening, accompanied by freshly baked pizza from Column Bakehouse, Devonport Guildhall’s own artisan bakery. You’ll also be given a refreshing glass of wine!
Please note that this is a walking tour so there will be gentle physical exercise involved.
The history evening is from 6:30 – 8:30pm, and to enjoy the event is just £12.50 per person. To reserve your place, please call 01752 395028 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
