CRIME.
Crime figures for the period from 3rd September to 10th September are down from 11 crimes reported last year to 9 this year.
These include 3 x criminal damages, 1 x shoplifting, 2 drugs offences, 2 x Breach of ASBO (Anti Social Behaviour Order) and 1 x sexual offence.
The two drugs offences were as a result of positive action taken by the police.

Anti-social behaviour incidents reported for this year and last were the same at 15.
A Dispersal Order for the whole of the Devonport area is now in force.

Police Community Surgery dates.
Officers from the Bobbies on the Beat Team will be on hand to answer queries and concerns at Marlborough Street Police Station which will be open on the following Saturdays from 10.00 to 12.30pm.

OTHER
The following priorities were set at the Bobbies on the Beat Steering Group meeting Weds. 8th September 2010 for the next 6 weeks (Unchanged from the previous period): -
1. Drug dealing and use.
2. ASB particularly on street drinking in the Marlborough Street area.
3. Environment – flytipping and rubbish disposal.
The next meeting of the Bobbies on the Beat Steering Group is on Wednesday
20th October 5.00pm. at Brickfields Sports Centre.
