Are you hungry for a challenge? Free course at the Devonport Guildhall

Devonport Guildhall is hosting a FREE 6 week course 'Ready Steady Challenge', for those who want to learn more about the hospitality industry, and get first-hand experience in cooking and working in this exciting environment.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to boost your CV writing skills and get expert help on interview techniques. You will be given professional cooking lessons and food presentation skills, and come away with a valuable food hygiene certificate. The course is also a great way of developing team working skills and building confidence.

You must be: 

• 16 – 24 years old

• Currently claiming Job Seekers Allowance

• Living in the Devonport area

There will be two courses running 2 days a week for 6 weeks. The first course starts on Monday 6th February 2012 and the second course starts on Thursday 23rd February 2012. At the end of the course, you will be given a challenge - to cater for a group of people in the Devonport community – really putting your skills to the test!
