As most of you are probably aware there are plans to sell off the local Plymouth owned bus company CityBus despite extensive efforts by the company themselves to improve and extend services in Plymouth. How do you feel about these proposed plans? Will the few buses that actually go into Devonport be affected?

There will be a huge march on Saturday 28th November starting at the Hoe at 11am, before the proposed sale of City Bus is due to go before the City Council on Monday 30th November. Linda Gilroy MP who was in Southway last Saturday in the protest against the sale of City Bus will also be there this Saturday to help with the protest. Linda urges other people who do not wish this sale to go through to join with the staff and many other bus users and council taxpayers to stop the sale.

You can read about Linda Gilroy MP campaign to save the Plymouth CityBus on her website.

Oh come on, why are you getting rid of the only buses that take us into town? It's so annoying when people live in big cities with lots of money because they get everything. We struggle to have more than two bleeding post boxes in the town and they remove the buses. PSH.
