ALBION BRIEFS

GRAHAM DAWE will be fed up of the mention of the number 51 this week.
Not only was that the number of points his team conceded last weekend at Bedford, but that is the age he will turn tomorrow.
Dawe is one of a host of Albion players celebrating birthdays this week.
Yesterday, scrum-half Ruairi Cushion turned 27, today Fijian coach Nat Saumi celebrates his 40th birthday, while centre Fionn McLoughlin will turn 28 on Monday.
LAST Saturday was only the fifth time Albion have conceded 50 or more points in a game since Dawe took over in the summer of 1999.
The last time was in April 2009 when they lost 50-32 to Moseley in the last match of the season. The game was played three days after the official campaign had finished and both clubs knew they were safe.
Before that, Albion had not let in that amount since October 2005 when they went down 52-41 at home in a mad game against Newbury.
The only other two occasions came at Worcester in March 2003, with Albion losing a thrilling contest at Sixways 55-36, and when they went down 55-6 to Rotherham in February 2003.
THIS season Albion supporters will be able to purchase The Herald at Brickfields on matchdays.
The club and the newspaper have teamed up to have vending boxes in the ground.
As well as selling The Herald, the venders will also be selling the new-look Albion programme priced £2.
THE Albion Supporters’ Travel Club are offering coach travel and tickets to the away league fixture against Nottingham on September 12.
