The University of Plymouth and Plymouth Albion have announced an official partnership to promote and support sport in the city. Enterprise through sport, will see the University and leading city professional rugby club work together to promote and encourage participation in sport and physical activity in Plymouth. In a true meeting of minds, the partnership formalises and extends an already strong relationship through which both Albion and the University will work together - and with local schools, sports teams and the wider community - to maximise sporting, educational and employability opportunities.

A reminder about the Plymouth Albion Winter Wonderland Ball which is Sunday 20th December 2009 with live entertainment, a four course meal, and dancing till late into the night! This is a black tie event but you better hurry if you are coming along because apparently the tickets are selling like hot festive mince pies!! The price is still just £30 per person.

Match Report: London Welsh 12 v Plymouth Albion 26. Plymouth Albion secured their first away win of the season with a four-try victory over London Welsh at Old Deer Park on Saturday. Albion's last win on their travels had come on March 7th when they had beaten Sedgley Park. But they proved they can still win away from Brickfields with a thoroughly professional display against the Exiles, who had lost only once before this term on their own soil.
